can't edit profile

I have tried both ways, the old way and from the new icon, and it's not working. I get a message that says it's been updated, yet when my profile comes up nothing has changed. Any suggestions?

And, I am about ready to work on posting a new blog. has that issue been resolved?

Have you tried to clear your cache?
That might be why you are seeing your profile as the old and not the updated.

If you're talking about refreshing the page, I did try that.
Also, I logged in on a new page, and it doesn't show the changes on my profile, but it does reveal the changes when I go to the edit page! So, it's getting saved…

I'm on a Mac so I hold the shift key and refresh. that clears cache.
but for PC i don't know.

if you are using FF go up to tools
down to clear private data.

Yes, I have a refresh button on my toolbar, that isn't doing anaything.
When I go into the edit icon that is now appearing on our profile pages, it also shows the text in there that I have added.

When I click on “done” it tells me “reference error-tiny MCE not defined”.

I have NO clue what that means or how to fix it. Anyone?

Suggestion to the 'team' (as i dunno what to call ya)
so that people dont' get miffed or jammed up AFTER a bunch of work
might you not send out a mass email what parts you are adjusting so the uhmmm impatient or perfectionists among us and simply avoid working in those areas?? and another when you all are out of them and we might truly expect all to work as it did before?

Mozilla would be the company name. So, it's probably Firefox. But now, just check the version number.

It depends on the browser, but it's usually as simple as going up to the tool bar and clicking help > about. For example, mine is Firefox version 2.0.0.14

OK, I”m able to duplicate the issue where you save it and it looks good, but when you go back, it doesn't stay saved.

I'll get that on the list of bugs to fix.

well, my stuff from the last 2 days is showing ty ty much!!!

then i tried adding a new thing to my interests list to see if all of the issue is corrected rather than just my stuff rescued

i added fingers….and it 'lost' it again….
i could only see it after i hit the elisa button at the top beside log out again…
if this is the way you wanted it to work…well then i can do that extra step
if not …still a lil bit glitchy :D

What happens for me is when I click on the third icon down, to edit the main part of the profile, the textbox displays all the HTML code, so I was able to make a minor change, it did appear, but I am scared to do much else for fear of screwing up some of the code.

I am in IE7 and have NOT messed with my javascript functions AT ALL. And I have rebooted in the meantime, too, I believe, so hard refresh might not be the answer either.

Have tried this a couple of times, last probably day before yesterday….
