Why is the world so messed up?

Why are wars happening now?

Why millions are dying of hunger?

How does a leader get re-elected after having a disastrous first term?

Why are some many people in debt?

Do you ever wonder why some days go by so well and others don't? Why time flies when you are having fun and slows when you are bored.

Do you think the majority of the world thinks often about war and how much they don't like it?

Let's pretend that the only Law in the universe that existed was the Law of Attraction. Meaning like energy attracting like energy. Positive energy attracts positive energy and negative energy attracts negative energy.

Our thoughts are energy. Now we are constantly bombarded with images of war, hunger, disease and many of things we do not like. Why do you think this continues to happen?

Yes the majority of the people in this world would rather have peace but the mere thought of war will set off that negative energy of war. Even though we don't like war, the thought of it, brings about that energy.

Lets say we have a cretin president will call him President Tree and he is running for second term against Senator Harry. Now if the majority of the country does not like the current President Tree you are sending out negative thoughts. So now this President has the minority support in their positive energy voters and also the support of the negative energy from those who spend so much time disliking him. How is he to loose? Poor Senator Harry just has is few who like him, because everybody else is to busy disliking the current president. Like energy attracts like energy.

You may say ‘well I sure in hell did not vote for him' and this would come from the majority of those he did not like him. All you have to do is send the thoughts out and the universe will find a way to make it happen. Whether it's by the cheating of the voting system or not allowed to vote on Election Day or marking the ballet wrong, it does not matter, it will find a way. The universe does not no the difference between positive energy or negative energy, it just like energy.

For those in debt, we spend so much time budgeting and complaining how we don't have any or enough money, well the more we complain about it the longer we are in debt.

Do we create our realities, I think we do.

People on this site mean well but have posted negative thought all in good cause mind you, I included, but it is still like energy.

If people would truly understand how powerful a thought is, oh how wonderful it would be.

But we continue to believe we are just mere mortals with little power, not realizing we have the power to create the universe in our own image and we are. The messed up world proves it.

Messed up? The world is as it should be. The question is why do we perceive the world as messed up?  The struggle of good and evil is just our perception. In the spiritual all is one, all is well.

Why are wars happening now?

Yes, and it's because we focus on self when the “I” is bored.  When we're having fun, we are focused externally.

Do you think the majority of the world thinks often about war and how much they don't like it?
 
They are not thinking about war, they are thinking about what it takes to have things their way.

The point is that the positive energy souls fulfill their role effectuating/facilitating the transformation of negative energies.

I'm not quite sure where the best place to input here is but this question seems to be the core enquiry.

But do you agree that we create our reality or do you believe we are here for the ride lets be positive?

And no I can't agree.
But I do have some more questions, who is this “we” as seperate from our “reality that we can create” ?

I know that whatever energy I put out comes back to me, and being positive is it's own reward, it's fun. But I can't think how I would begin to create a universe, this crazy planet, a human being or even a paperclip. I would rather leave the creation stuff in the hands of a higher knowing than mine.

I think I understand what you mean when you say the world is not messed up. I believe myself that everything is perfect. But if we are to continue to evolve then we are going to have to change things.

War is started due to fear of loosing something or not having enough and I don't think that is positive thinking. So again my point is negative thoughts create a negative out come. You create positive thoughts and your world will be a better place. The more we think this as a whole the less we have war and other not so nice things.

But that is what I believe and I appreciate you comments Mixed Multitude.

The fact that this website and thread even exists is a testament to the changes taking place inside the people who inhabit this planet. There's still lots of negative junk out there, but many people are beginning to turn, and I for one have been amazed at the number of people interested in making these types of changes.

Someone told me recently that there is no negative energy, all is positive and perfect. The negative is created by us, and if we wish to be free of it, we need to release it and let it become the truly beautiful light it really is.

It's so cool tat I can wrie this kind of stuff here, and most people won't think I've completely lost my mind!!

That is a great point - just by the virtue of this site existing is a testament to people wanting to simply make things better. 

Never in human history have as many people thought about the global good - beyond the family, the tribe, the nation, the empire, the idea - and wondered why and what if.

I agree, its like “as above in consciousness, so below in matter”.

Or “energy follows intent”.

We are “sparks of the one”.

We are God within.

We are consciousness, at root.

Heck, the physical world you see around you is consciousness at root and the only way consciousness moves is through intent and attention. Think about something, and there it is.

Now as to why the world is messed up. Its so messed up because you've forgotten your power, you've forgotten your divinity, you've forgotten you can have control, and now you let someone else's idea of reality (the media, your parents, the schools), define for you the reality.  And you gotta admit, the definition of reality given to you by the meda and the schools and (somtimes) our parents (because they were victims too) kinda sucks….

Hi Michael,

I've been talking with my daughters a lot lately about synchronicity and the phenomenon of attention. They understand it on different levels - my 18 year old a lot, I think, especially because she is an honours math student at mcgill and thinks a lot about things, and my 9 year old just thinks her book is “reading her mind” :)

It's a fascinating field of study.

Hi Nicole.

Ya, kids can be more intuitive and knowledeable about this stuff than adults. I think by the time we get past a certain age “the system” has (sometimes literally) beat our spirituality out of us and left us cold, isolated, and alone – cut off from our greater spiritual consciousness. I do not believe this is a natural state. I believe it is something that is “done to us” to make us all a bit more socially and politically pliable.

I don't think these are skills we've lost though and they are fairly easy to recover. A little chakra meditation, a little work on your fears and issues, and pretty soon you'll be dancing in the garden just like the five years olds.

Yes, the most beautiful people I know are the most childlike and at the same time most
mature… people usually in their sixties and above who still stop at stare at a gorgeous flower, or a smiling child, or a rainbow… life is endlessly fascinating… when I grow up, I want to be just like them :)

The world is messed up, because most people do not listen to eachother, and because the world is full of people.

Wars are happening because there are too many people, or too many cars to accompany them.

Millions are dying of hunger because we have too many people.

Why? don't ask me, ask the voters. It doesn't make sense to me whatsoever, maybe like Stalin, simple straightforward propaganda.

So many people are in debt, because they are materialistic, and want to buy stuff they cannot afford.

I don't wonder why some days seem to go good and others don't they all go well from my point of view. I guess time flies because you are rapaidly increasing disorder inside your brain when consuming contemplation, and due to the increase in the rate of disorder your inner time goes faster then the outside time. meaning, when you enjoy what you are doing, things go faster.

I do not know.

If that was the case, Earth would be a polarized glog with one little white spot in the middle.

Because we watch it? and the television company broadcasts it, because we watch it, so that they make more money? You could try and turn the TV off…
