If you don't have a video and want to add one I would love if you use my trailer
just go to zaadz video or google video and type trust 22 (serch) and it will come up

That way you would be killing two birds with one stone… well you actualy won't be killing anything but you be helping two good causes at the same time :)

Got a video onto mine with only a small problem of not being able to
find the EXACT video i know is on youtube.
it found Abraham, Martin, and John (by Dion), but not the one i have in
my favorites that i would of posted under the same title.
if that is a glitch in youtube or in Zs searcher, will be the thing to figure out.

It will be fun to try out this system as we have been getting paid to do the same with ours for the last year.  Haven't got the IM to work yet, but knowing how much fun and educational it is we won't give up. I had exactly the same problem as Marcy C.  I have a PC-type computer that my son built this summer, so it's pretty usable.  I also have a Mac, but I've learned that it's easier to do Zaadz functions on the PC, and I haven't had problems doing them since I started using my son's computer until now.  (It's lucky he's away at work a lot, so I can be on Zaadz!  :)

hi MaryC, Martha,

when you choose YouTube or Google Video from the dropdown, it will update the search results. depending on your connection speed, this could take a while.

an alternate way of doing it is to skip the video searching on Zaadz and manually plug your videos.

here are the steps:

1) go to YouTube or Google Video

2) search for the videos you like

3) copy the video id from the URL

4) create a new blog and click on the embed video icon

5) when you get to the pop up window, skip to the Settings screen by click on any of the video titles that you see

6) once you're on the Settings screen you can paste the video id of the video on the File/URL field. (video id that you've copied from YouTube or Google video). make sure it's in this format:

For YouTube videos:
http://www.youtube.com/v/video-id

For Google Videos:
http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=video-id

7) once the video appears on the preview. select the alignment and text placement.

8) Click Insert when you're done.

I know, this process is a bit complicated :( But we're going to make this a lot easier soon! In the meantime, have fun with it and please continue giving us your feedback! Thanks!

cool tool! If the video shows up in search its very smooth. Like a few others I'm having trouble embedding a video NOT in the search - even with directions. When I click on http://www.youtube.com/v/video-id  to determine what makes up the video-id, I get a  500 server error.  Not sure if its my server or Zaadz

I'm having the same problem that Bobbo is having.  I cannot seem to find myYoutube vblogs using the search function in the Zaadz blog writing tool.  I tried doing it the old way, but using the reccommended change to the url, and it works very well.

Ok, this explains my problem the other day too.  At the search in Youtube is where I got hung up.  The next day, my search was fine and I found the video I wanted and it worked.

Like with our other tools…….we get to test them out ……report bugs……and soon enough we have a cool tool to use.

I would try posting about bugs in Zaadz Support as well.  I think that is where our techies go to check if we have issues.

One thing though… it would be convenient if there was a “back to previous search” button on the preview page! Thus far, it seems as though I have to cancel the preview and hit the add embedded video again to do another search.

I was wondering if you guys were planning to add this function to the pods as well.  I was just messaged today by someone who wanted to add a youtube video to a thread in realizing health that would have been perfect.

I also wanted to add a video a couple months ago that fit well with another thread.

Is it a future plan to be able to embed video in the pods?
