I believe there is a supreme universal force above all of us that orchestrates every little event around us.
Although this belief gets kinda shaky sometimes because the people who deserve to be punished dont always get punished and those who deserve to be happy aren't always happy.
But I do believe some kind of being is out there :)

Hi anyone, I always thought the question should be is there a Good as opposed to is there a God, since a God is a personnel journey, where as good is a human reality of being, with out a consensus for Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, Love and Hate in the global relations of so many nations and species on the same planet, there is no democracy or law to protect anything, let alone the idea and reality of a sentinel creator of existence and existence should be about life and not death, therefore the emphasis is on law as opposed to religion, the question as to the existence of God is irrelevant to the question of collective existence, since there are many religions and culture and not everyone's going to have the right deck in life, or maybe division was a challenge set by a collective God, but, the question as to based on a humane ethical value structure of common association with respect and without consensus of association there is no good in the world today just ignorance and indifference…thank you

hey, hiren, we have discussed this a lot on the God Pod, feel free to browse through the archives for many people's take on it… or begin a new thread there if you wish.

Love and light,

Nicole

hi everyone,

first of, thanks to your contributions on the Think Tank group. however, i'd like to remind everyone that the Think tank group is for ideas, suggestions, on Gaia, and not for discussing other topics. please review the Think Tank description.

this discussion board in particular is for suggested questions for our QaR. so please let's keep it brief.

as for longer discussions, i suggest that you first use your personal blogs and invite people to comment, then feel free to share your thoughts on groups with the appropriate topic. also, feel free to post anything under the sun on our central Gaia Lounge

thanks!

Thanks C4 and we had the makings of a classic, but all said and done, it's answered itself so back to fun…think tank ideas you need I see, it's unthinkable, this tank is not for moving, could always fill with fish and see how that floats,or maybe give it  a diving board…so long :-) and happy trails…

So, I'm new to this “community” and I only accidentally got into it because I wanted to apply to the scholarship…in fact I was just about to try and delete my gaia profile thing (which I still don't know how to do, if someone could explain that to me it would be great) when this question caught my eye…I must say I do believe there is a God and that God is the Christian God of the Bible…..I get the feeling this may not be a popular idea here but I'm definitely welcome to some discussion (at least before I figure out how to delete my  accidental profile)
