Social Remote Viewing

Nathaniel said Oct 24, 2007, 3:38 PM:

I had an idea a while back for a website that I think this group might like. I haven't found anything like it online so I figured it might be worth a shot. Tell me what you think:

Essentially it is a website that's all about remote viewing. We could offer classes, tutorials, etc… as well as generate affiliate sales on other RV training materials. However, that's not what the site is about, that's just how it manages to stay up.

The site is about setting up regular remote viewing tests for all who wish to participate. Users are told that a random image will be shown at a predetermiened time. Durring that time, users can submit various keywords that they believe might pertain to the image they will be shown. Things lick colors, textures, elements, movement, action, direction, position, etc… They can add as much as they want.

Everyone takes the same tests and each user is ranked based on their accuracy. With a little more information, like location, age, gender, nationality, etc… we would be able to collect demographic information to be able to show the varrious accuracies of each group and even a map of accuracy based on location.

Idealy, This information could also be used to do things like find lost items and perhaps even children. Of course the information wouldn't be solicited to the Police but if the information proves to be fairly accurate, then officers may find it useful to use.

The idea is simple. If one person can be fairly accurate at remote viewing, wouldn't thousands be better? By analyzing keyword frequency and weighting them based on the accuracy of the user we could really develop an interactive RV community.

I think it would be cool, just to see the results.
I know I've posited ideas before only to find that it's already been done. Hope this one isn't taken too.

Nathaniel, this is a great idea–and, in fact, there is a site that's a lot like the one you've described.  Check out Ten Thousand Roads.  It's run by Palyne Gaenir.  She also has a remote viewing pod right here on Zaadz–it's the Remote Viewing and Psychic Work pod.

Awesome, I'm going to check it out right now. I figured most of the good ideas are already taken. Someone here had to know.

On another note, this pod sure has been dormant for a while. I know there are more people interested in psi than this.

I'm interested in psi, It's just that I'm never on here, and I don't practice much…
Although if anyone's looking for a training partner for empathy, I'm interested.

hey…

I just noticed this and also want to mention another program with a man who did this work for the military during the 90's. David Morehouse, PhD.

It is a very detail course.

hope this helps.. Jen

Hi, Jen:

You do a little remote viewing (RV)?

A good buddy of Jeff Mishlove's introduced me to it. Don't know much about David Morehouse other than I ran into his training materials at The Bodhi Tree in Los Angeles. But I do know something, first hand, about many good people who are interested in RV.

There are thousands of us around now, maybe even hundreds of thousands if one counts the people who have a nodding acquaintance with it. There are also Pods and practioners who work with it for at least a portion of their overall interests.

I've known about RV for 25 years, and was introduced to it by the work of Stephan Schwartz (the buddy of Jeff Mishlove's) and another teacher of mine, Rosalyn Bruyere. I'd recommend Stephan's techniques and work absolutely without hesitation. Look at his book, Opening to the Infinite at that site, but any of his books are spectacular. He also has training materials on RV, which although I haven't used his yet, I'd bet my biscuits they're among the best to be found anywhere.

For anyone really interested in RV, you could also consider joining the International Remote Viewing Association, IRVA. We have an annual conference and an e-mail messaging list.

Whatever groups or people you hook up with, I'd suggest one caveat; research them carefully, because you'll find flakes mixed in with the best in their field. Including IRVA. And it doesn't serve anyone to have a bad rep to work against when there's so much good to come of something that could come naturally to everyone.
