Oneness, Ascension, Enlightenement, Liberation, Immortality: those absolute words which seem to be the goal we are seeking. Whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Perhaps that is the meaning of God.

What are you seeking? What is your view about any one or some or all of these?

And where does the power of light come into play in these?

Yes, I want to share some musings; but they're still swirling, so I thought that I'd start this here.

If I had to choose, I'd choose Liberation for simplicity, although to date I've been calling this Freedom mainly.  It's restrictions from my own thinking that I'd like to be liberated from. I feel complete in terms of self: I know who I am [oneness], who's my authority [enlightenment], what is my potential [ascension] and I am not very much concerned about being immortal … I love this life and want to live it fully. I could die in an instant; just would like to know that I'm happy.

It's my thoughts on possibility that I'd like to escape, the ones which say that anything is impossible or limited, ESPECIALLY in people… and this includes myself.

Apart from that, the connection I make to the subject of Light bringing, is to raise the awareness of people in their individual potential and what they could bring to the world if they so desired, in an effort to improve the quality of living for everyone in this world.

This would be my struggle periodically, but, in honesty, it's more the perfectionist in me than anything which wants me to not ever have to struggle with the idea.

I feel that perhaps these are steps on a path: englightenment, liberation, ascension, oneness.

Not sure about immortality in this tidy picture!

As it's Independence Day in the U.S. today, when daily routine changes one way or the other; I was thinking of independence and liberation.

Independence from dominion of another country could lead to self-independence; as July 4th did for those who belonged to the U.S.A. But it could also spell another kind of imprisonment for others–as it did for the tribes that inhabited this land before the new ones came.  It can also seem like politicking to speak such words, as I do not belong to any of these groups.Yet I feel linked to all…I can “see” and empathize with all sides. The celebration, the feeling of defeat, the feeling of doom. Is that a glimpse of oneness?

It is AFTER independence of this sort, that one can start on the road to liberation. But liberation does not depend on political independence. It depends on the freeing of our own minds from  anything that seems to bind it.  As an outsider, I see the movement towards unity among the three forces affected by that fateful July 4th; as an empathic insider, I feel the path calling for light and more light. Perhaps these are enlightening thoughts?

Next month, India celebrates its independence, also from British rule. One country became independent, and the other, celebrated for never having the sun set on its empire, lost that glory….

Liberation seems to transcend this duality; so if I had a goal, I would choose this, as I first chose independence, with all that it meant for a child to be emotionally independent; and then freedom from thinking that our duties are thrust on us, to understanding that they ground us; and now perhaps to liberation….

But as I've been talking on the 50-stars group, I am unaware of my “goals”.

So I”m probably seeking them all.

Yes, I've had a very interesting time contemplating 'Independence' of one country from another.

You may know that my country is a former British colony also, as is Kenya where I not too long visited, and I had an opportunity to observe the impact of Independence… vs the intent. I still detect lots of dependence, in terms of trade and tourism etc. These end up being the livelihood of the economy and therefore strongly retain the lifeline connection. It also keeps the people of these territories dependent, whether they want to be or not, for their survival. It is a very big reason why so little actual development relative to the amount of trade between the “mother country” and the former colonies has been happening.

Only when the people themselves approach the subject of their own independence, not according to the standard definitions out there, will there ever be true independence, that's for certain. And I saw and continue to see evidence of this in different circles.

For me, personally, I did have to shed expectations of present society to transcend to the idea that - don't mean to be crude - I am NOT a slave. This is the remnant of colonialism that pervades my people and many people from across the African Diaspora. It's unfortunate but factual. I am aware this is the situation for African Americans as well… the double layer I call it. Nonetheless I see the minds beginning to open up in terms of direction as people, not just black people, but people everywhere, thank Goodness, and I look forward to more and more emphasis on Being human, rather than being anything else divisive.

My final point would be that our ascension in thinking to our innate humanity i.e. our divinity, will absolutely be the most fantastic time in human development and I totally pray to be alive for that occasion! :D

I watched fire works last night and heard every song written that gives glory to the US on our day of “independence”. I AM was reminded of a movie by Chris Rock - “Head of State” in which he runs for president. It was suppose to be a joke but then people started to connect with what he had to say. All of the other candidates continually said “God bless America and no one else” - obviously candidates don’t say this in the real world - directly…but indirectly yes, so I appreciated them actually saying it in the movie. When Chris’ character finishes his speech at the debate he says “God bless America and everyone else!” he then says several other countries by name while the audience applauds. - This is how I’ve always felt, and I was happy to see that I wasn’t alone.

We are not truly “independent” - not one of us as far as countries go. The idea of it is what keeps us from loving the world as one…as a whole. I love France, China, Africa, Japan, etc., etc.,…I love Gaia, all that there is, not just the country to which I was born. I pledge my allegiance to life, to all of us and mostly to that which Created us all.

On a more physical level, it is weird for me annually celebrate knowing the history of how Native Americans (who had it right) were slaughtered, had the land taken from them - mostly because they believed land was not owned by man, but by its creator and was meant for us to share. Then the country was built up via slavery - free labor, cruelty and murder…no reparations to date… Yes let’s celebrate, we are independent!…if all of the other countries fell off of the globe…what would we be? nothing. No country is “independent” we are all suffering because of what we do and have done to one another, this is one world, we all succeed or go down together.

I do love America, I love the world. I have issues with our greed and conceit. I’m still not understanding how there are enough resources for everyone in the world to have food and shelter…but everyone doesn’t. We don’t have the most people, but we use the most resources. We have shows to celebrate how much money we spend on parties for 16 year olds! There are countries where by 16 you are fighting in wars. Yes, we take more than our share…or more than we require and don’t share enough to actually solve problems…just enough to control…we will kill over oil (period). BTW, this is not anti-military…unfortunately we have created a world in which we all have to have militaries to defend us from each other…we don’t even begin to understand the meaning of genocide…

Yesterday/last night at the celebration I went to, I celebrated my love for the world as I prayed that one day we would stop focusing on “independence” and focus instead on One Love.

I love whomever is reading this, I love the country you live in, I love you even if you don’t agree with me and I wish us all the true independence from everything that keeps us from enlightenment.

Jaki I thank you for this beautiful and expressive post. We're just humans occupying a shared space, plain and simple. The simplicity is what gets apparently difficulty for people to grasp. Nonetheless these terms of independence and even dependence which form a part of life now are just symbols of human division in themselves. They are the extreme case of people going astray from their nature and from what God intended… the unfortunate product of gifted free will most probably.

Nonetheless, like every system in nature, it goes full circle or rebounds, this depending on the conditions. I believe full circle is approaching where we willingly will go to our nature and get serious about living and sustaining life in the space we have been afforded. It's inevitable unless, of course, we want to be the next extinct species on the planet. I've got to believe this and look towards such a future.

America has been somewhat of an anomaly for me; I seem to feel such a resistance - not from yourself and certainly it is not intentional anyway - from the people there about changing for absolutely necessary good. I feel this quite a bit. I guess there's much more invested in the present system both emotionally and financially.

However, it's got to come along ultimately, there's no choice. Every other country in the world that the U.S. trades with is waking up… sometimes sluggishly, sometimes more quickly, but it's got to happen. The sooner one engages with life in the new system, the better for everybody and the smoother the transition for everybody as well. I hope our friends here at GAIA will be able to help smooth the path for many others; you will need energy and support of each other to do it. You have my best wishes in this pursuit.

Yes, America is a country that few people can completely ignore or have no opinion about; and perhaps is one of the best known countries in the world. I feel it is because as it is now; it is one of the few “planned” countries; new-grown…

In continuation of the thread that started with children crying…and sent them to light…

Those having visions of which they can do nothing, finding only sadness or guilt as they witness. I overstand where you are and the feelings you're having about the complexity of the gift you've unwrapped - or just found sitting there in front of you:)

Let's go from the perspective of it being a gift. If someone gave me a computer for the 1st time and I began to use it without instruction or guidance from another who already has been using it regularly - many possibilities could occur. One of which is I would turn it on, click here and there see all kinds of things - but not know what to do about them or within them. It doesn't mean I should kick the computer when it bothers me:) It just means I should know that with such grand technology there must also be some instruction. Being physic for over 20 years and see my computer freeze many times, downloading spam unaware, not using programs to there fullest and eventually being where I AM now - which is a place where I AM a help desk specialist who learns programs on purpose, assists others when they call:) - I'm going to do my best to help you navigate through this:)

As usual Meenakshi has foreseen to move this to a new place of power designed specifically to contain it. Oneness, Ascension, Enlightenment, Liberation, Immortality - all of these equal the same One meaning. Welcome to a level of oneness where you are seeing anything, all kinds of things because within oneness there is constant flow. I will not go into my experiences of things I've seen that upset me, as most of us are upset by them, not afraid of them. What I will go into is the process to end powerless vision if it is undesired without ending all visions.

Do not forget the Power of the One Which Creates all and Is The Supplier and Keeper Of these gifts. I don't care what religion you may or may not be Spirit is not limited to a religion. In your quiet place allow for a communication between yourself and the Giver. Although the Giver Is Always Aware of your issue - the grandest gift given to all of us is choice. This includes the right to choose to ask for The Giver's assistance with your new computer:) So let's call the company that makes them and speak to The Creator Of All of them - for The Creator knows about  all of the complexities surrounding this glorious gift.

To That Which Creates all, From which we come and to Whom we return. Oh how I love Thee. Within the many, too many to name or number, gifts that Thou has bestowed upon me, I AM forever grateful. And it is with the gift of seeing that which many have yet to see, knowing that which many have yet to experience, that I seek Your guidance in learning more about and further developing it. I ask knowing that You see and know why I've been blessed with this gift that You have seen fit to give me.

Almighty please guide me so that I might see these visions clearly, and so that I might find peace within myself to help me with what is shown to me. Although I am tempted to ask You to limit the gift to joyous things in which I may partake of happiness of things to come, or be the heroin in saving those I see in peril - I instead ask that You assist me with this that You have supplied. Be that which constantly guides my vision physical and beyond human eyes. Bring with them the answers that my humanness seeks in order for it to find peace. Yet, expand me Spiritually so that my Spirit may be that which helps me grow to the place You are leading me.

To those that are the guides and keepers for what is being shown to me, I within my power and given right from the Almighty am requesting to not be entertained be lesser energy beings. They are not invited into my space or sight. I also ask that I not be shown things that will leave me in a place of devastation, until I have reached a place within this gift to see them and not be devastated. Without telling Spirit what to reveal to me within the glorious never ending experience and beyond it - I do request that I not be shown things I have no idea what to do with without also receiving the guidance of what I AM to do about them or next even if that is no-thing at all. If these things will fill my humanness with sorrow, yet do nothing else than expose my eyes to them so that I may remember that  I AM part of oneness, please do not show me them yet.

For one day I will grow into the highest levels and full power of this gift - if I so choose it. Until then, please allow for me to develop in a way that is not overwhelming but is similar to a child going from crawling, to walking to running with it. As only that child knows when it is ready to take a new step even if it is clear to it's parents that they can at anytime. I AM asking that I be the one who defines when that is.

With the power of choice given to me by You the Almighty, I AM choosing to ask these things of you and the Angels You place over them. I do this in complete faith that hear and have already answered this for You are the Giver of all there is. I love You (Oh how I love YOU), I thank You and I am humbled in your presence. To You be the glory for then we shall all feel glorified within, live life more abundantly and know the fullness of joy.

My Keeper, Protector, Provider, Mother, Father, Creator, Alpha, Omega - I thank you for your help with this and all my gifts and please alter anything I have said in these limited words to what You Know my heart means and supply that which You Know is best, when it is best, while giving me peace in reception of it.

Today I read these beautiful posts , and wasn't sure how to answer . I knew it would come.

I went down stairs , and I always stick to the same routine every day.

For some reason I was lured , by the light on my old hardwood floors , they shimered.

I followed the light into my library.the sun was so bright , and full , when I sat down,, I turned , and looked out the window , and the sun was as though it was on my face. I closed my eyes,the sun gave me warmth , It was a sun drenched kiss.

I went , and had my breakfast , and all the daily things I do.

Then went to sit down , and look to see if there was any good news for me to read to today.

Then I turned the page , and something caught my eye.Space  Weather it read.

I see this picture , and it brings light to my heart , I feel like I could be dancing along the starry skys.
I read further that scientest have spent $200,000,000.00 finding answers to this mystery.
Then I thought is it really worth all that money , and why? could the money not go in better sources? Let it go , and just let it be , there is answers yet only the right people know them.
So then this clipping gets me thinking of me. Let it go , as the answers will unfold when they are meant to be. When I try to hard, this creates havoic , and the Gods above are frowning upon me , and they tell me so.

Jaki, thank you for posting this gift here. When gifts begin awakening, it is so important to be in satsang [Sanskrit word for community for truth/light] or what the Buddhists call ”sangham”.

Regardless of the word;  visions – which are one of the many siddhis or special gifts– paradoxically set us apart from others and in the company of new friends. Sometimes the same friends we've had for a long time, are known even deeper, as they've been waiting for our gifts to flower so that they can share theirs.

We are never alone when special gifts develop. The gift develops to show this to us.

When we started this path, one of my teachers taught us to always ask for the highest –the very highest energy that is available to me–to come.

The reason is, that we may get burned by the sun till we are ready to approach it; but we can perhaps take its glint in the ocean. So it's not that energies are bad or good; but that they are ones we can or can't take at present.

The more we feel in oneness, the brighter light shines through us; the more “scary” can be the energies who want to pass through into light. At this time, staying in that unity-consciousness, where we know that it is not “my” light that the dark is seeking to destroy; but the light shining through me that it is seeking to fly towards; helps all concerned. Till we are ready to be such a clear channel of light; we need to ask for those energies we are willing to accept; a prayer that you can make for yourself…

The book sits 3 feet away from me always:) I keep it out knowing that I'll read it again, but in the meantime, I just love to feel the pure energy that surrounds it. I carried it from my bedroom to my office last month… I will see this as the sign of opportunity to experience it again.
