Excerpt Step 8.

Create Mindfully:
The Art of Mindful Creation

http://www.innerguidancenetwork.org/SpiritsOnymousStep8.htm

The most powerful cosmic law that impacts our lives is The Law of Attraction. As soon as we understand this law and align ourselves with this mind boggling force we become powerful creators, able of creating the life we deeply desire.

Everyone creates, but only a few create mindfully. Whether you like it or not, you are a powerful spiritual wizard, yet many of us are unaware of it. We are like apprentice magicians who create monsters instead of butterflies. We create disarray instead of harmony, wars instead of peace, illness instead of health. We're misusing our magical powers and we're complaining about the reality we have created.

What is the magical formula? Well, it all starts with a thought. Every thought is the beginning of a new creation, but that is not enough. We need to feed it energy. How do we do that?
In The ClearView Conspiracy, Lakshmi says, “You can feed your thoughts focus, time, joy and expectation. The more you passionately think and talk about what you want, visualize it and expect it to materialize, the more birthing power you'll give it.”

With every thought, you send a vibrational message into the Universe. The more congruent your thought is, and the more you give it passion and time, the more likely it is that you will attract what you desire.

Every thought is the beginning of a new creation, and our passion gives it life.

SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS!  WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN, FOR YOU, HERE, NOW?

…Earth is a school where we are learning these lessons…we are getting our training wheels here…just as we don' t hand the car keys to all the 10 year olds …we have to go through many life lessons before we step into Mastery…we have the freedom here to make our mistakes and learn from them…

…the author Gregg Braden descibes in the Isahia Effect that the prossess of creating is about :
25 % intent (the though)  and
                              75 % emotion-the engine that drives the intent…

…we've been like 10 year olds behind the wheel…to look around at the world today…the good news is that God takes this into acount and that we do have the abillity to learn from our mistakes…

I am wondering about the emotion part….can we call it feeling good, passion, love, optimism, flow, joyful expectation. I am trying to name specific vibes…what else?

Thanks for creating this pod and posts.

cheers

Hmmm. So that's what went off kilter! My mind has a mind of its own at times, not unlike a wonderfully creative and exuberent 3 year old. Good ideas, great intentions, but somehow, the eggs and flour and sugar are allover the kitchen floor, and not arranged on the cake-plate as a tempting treat!

I love the clarity and guidance of this step. I am not a “linear” thinker, and so appreciate having little reminders to help me stay on track. The seven steps work when I stay focused. I have the evidence abundantly in my life that this works, yet I need to gently remind myself to stay in the here, now and bring my energy back to what I am manifesting.
This week, I've been good at it. 2 Halloween parties for groups I lead, readying for the holidays, and focusing on nurturing Self. My collage is in my head, on its way to paper. My goals are in action, and I added another as the Universe made its intentions known. I can follow today, without needing to ask “WHY” so much. Loving the flow today.

See you in the Be-ingness

most people condemn the mind saying it is the trouble maker and it is not listening to us.
They forget that we are the people who have to be cotrolled for the betterment. Our mind is only a power of ours which can do wondres which you have already mentioned. so we must train ourselves for the good.

Well said  my dear Balasundaram,

The mind is one of our greatest allies and assists us in creating magnificence, but we –Spirit– need to be in charge. Like a strong elephant, our minds can assist us in manifesting great deeds; however, when unfocused or driven by fear or greed the elephant may destroy villages.

Yes … let's train the elephant!
Eh … how do we do that???
Thoughts???

How do we train the elephant?  Well, I think the place to start is to understand we are all born with different talents and gifts.  I can't possibly achieve the best of who I am if I am constantly comparing myself to other people.  I can't possibly know what my path in life is if I constantly distract myself off of my path by comparing myself to others around me.  Nor, can I be happy for others successes in the world if I am comparing myself to them, either.  My path in life is unique … and you know, I am more curious about knowing what my unique path is than worrying about how I measure up to someone else's path …. when there is nothing to measure :)  That is certainly one way of keeping focused.  And, if I have my energy, thoughts, and desires moving in that direction I can create great things - the things I was meant to create!

Dear Darci,
beautifully said! I wholeheartedly agree with you that I can direct my life so much better, and consequently be of greater service to mankind, if I focus my mind on what “feeds my soul.”

Only if we fully celebrate who we are and bring that into manifestation can we celebrate others. Only if we acknowledge greatness in ourselves, can we see greatness in others. For the “casual onlooker” it may sound egocentric, but nothing is further from the truth. We owe it to ourselves and to the rest of humanity to focus our thoughts (elephant) on following our deepest passions. Thank you Darci, great contribution!

Constantly we are bombarded with negative scenarios via the media. I believe part of the process of ‘attracting’ is using discernment and choice to eliminate the negative, external imagery and language that filters through our experience - at least until we build the appropriate ‘boundaries’ that will keep us ‘in joy’

detox your spirit by surrounding yourself with people, places and things that vibrate love, freedom, joy, creativity etc. Turn off the tv and burn the newspapers!

Good Morning Lucia,

I so agree with you. I've found that starting the morning with meditation and a little memorable music helps me to create a center that I can tap into when the “externals” threaten to overwhelm me. Personally, I'm drawn to music that speaks of a personal connection to those I cherish. For example, check this out

http://dragonflydreamer.zaadz.com/blog

The music brings a lightness, a visual, and a reconnection with the people I adore in my life–way more power than the nonsense of the “external” world

I agree with both Melissa and Lucia.  I especially like Melissa's point about starting the day in a way that enables her to go back to a center when needed.  The reason I think this is important is because I believe balance to be key.  Balance in understanding that a center is important for those times when needed but, you are still actively participating in the world and striving to make a difference for the better.  I have experienced too many people around me who fall into the temptation to withdraw and isolate to only those things that are comfortable and/or people that think the same way they do.  I think that is a dangerous place to fall into.  I don't think it's possible to grow spiritually by isolating myself to only what is comfortable for me … at least not for any great length of time.  I want to be change for the better in my family, my community, my work … my life.  Thanks ladies!

Indeed … spiritual growth comes with change … eternal change. Not even God, Allah, Spirit can afford to be stagnant. Being alive means riding the waves of change. Let's stretch and grow.
