We’re looking at the week beginning 6 July 2008. The Moon is Full on the 18th. Until then, press forward with your projects. Reassess on the 18th and begin to harvest your achievements for the lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week: Three major transits affect us this week. The Sun opposes Jupiter, opening opportunities in business and work. The Sun is our basic vitality and goals. Jupiter supports and expands these goals, and it’s our responsibility to take best advantage of this time. Jupiter can foster a desire for too much - too much growth, too much consumption. Keep an eye for how appropriate your action and desire might be: enjoy yourself, but avoid gluttony.

Mercury opposes Pluto this week as well. Mercury is our thinking and communication. Pluto intensifies and energizes our thinking. It’s a great time to delve deeply into problems you want to solve. The potential problem we’ll see with this energy is a tendency to push too hard, to want to control others through communication - or to feel as if we’re being controlled by others. Avoid argument and debate; it’s likely to lead to words you may regret having said.

Mars conjoins Saturn and trines Pluto all week as well. Mars and Saturn make difficult bed-mates. Mars wants to push forward with action and drive, while Saturn wants to stabilize and control. Tension tends to be the basic meaning of this contact. We want to push hard while we’re feeling held back by external structures. Pluto can be a help here: it opens the possibility to transform the basic structures that are holding us back.

The week’s net: The key to success this week is balance. We’ll want to expand in our work, but we may feel captive to external structures that we cannot control. The key is to stay in balance and harmony - that’s Jupiter. Work hard on problems, but avoid verbal conflict and power plays.

On the 6th we start the week with the Moon conjoining both Mars and Saturn. This is emotionally tough. Moon and Saturn always tend to be a bit depressive. Adding Mars accentuates the feeling of tension around being held back emotionally. Keep your perspective, and avoid verbal conflict with those you love.

7 July: The Moon forms a Grand Square with Mercury, Pluto, and Uranus today and tomorrow. This is a powerhouse configuration that completely flips yesterday’s feelings of constriction. The accent is on rapidly changing mental stimulation. This is exciting, but can produce a lot of nervous tension and potential upset. Conflicts with others may be a real issue: avoid getting pulled into power plays and control games with others. The key is to channel the dynamic energy into productive achievement, rather than getting absorbed into conflict.

8 July: The Moon continues yesterday’s highly energetic configuration. Keep on track and avoid being pulled into emotional conflicts. Continue to practice positive health approaches to reduce tension: yoga, taiji, qi gong, and meditation.

9 July: The Moon forms a T-Square with the Sun and Jupiter today, and forms the First Quarter. This expansive and energetic configuration takes the emotional pressure off from the past two days and opens us to relationship growth and emotional satisfaction. Avoid excess: that’s always the problem with Jupiter contacts. Push forward in business contacts, and spend time with those you love.

10 July: The Moon continues to square the Sun and also squares Venus today. It trines Neptune and sextiles Pluto, as well. The emotional support we felt yesterday continues today, and grows into stronger relationship support. Take time with those you love. Meditation and inner work can be very beneficial today.

11 July: The Moon sextiles Mars and Saturn and trines Mercury today. This takes the edge off the tension we’ve been feeling all week from Mars and Saturn. This is a particularly good time for business communication and negotiation, and for successful mental work.

12 July: The Moon closes the week by forming a dynamic Kite with Jupiter, Uranus, Jupiter, and the Sun. This is incredibly supportive for relationship change and growth. Explore life with those you love. The watchword is novelty: find something new. Stretch your boundaries. This can also be highly productive in business work and negotiations.

Seeing the future can sometimes feel a lot like remembering the past. In some ways, if you can see/remember the future it has (at some level) already happened -- just not manifested yet on a physical level.

In order to clear some confusion, you might need anchor your vision with everything else. Does it confirm/connect with everything that you and your friends are currently experiencing or have experienced in the past.

My friends would call that giving me a "reality check" :)

My name is Jennifer and this may be the place I need to start. Afew years ago I realized that I needed to stop forcing things and see where the Universe wanted to take me. I've never been good with "go with the flow" type things, but everything seemed to be telling me to. However, since then, any ability to "sense" or "feel" or however else you would describe it went away. Things have gone from bad to worse, at least from my viewpoint. Instead of coming to any greater understanding, I am more confused, scared and lonely than I ever have been before. I was hoping that someone would be able to point me in the right direction. I am sorry to hear you are feeling confused.
All I can say is "hold on" !

I know it is hard to go with the flow -but , especially when times
are tough -you really do have to stay in the moment-
and trust me, it is easier if you do.

And sometimes we just try too hard and when we don;t see
the way, we start doubting and miss the signs completely!

The best thing you can do, is to go about each day and take
them as they come -with dignity and hope.

Trust the Universe with all it's little tests, stay strong and true
to yourself and then when you look back, you really will see that
it is all just part of your path.

Don't try to force it and it will become apparent and it will turn out
for the best.
It is not always for us to understand the reason's for life's trials,
but they are part of life, and when the time is right, you will understand
the reason for them.
And please, please don't sad and lonely -you have us here at Gaia
and you don't need to feel lonely again!

My name is Kaiya.

I found this site a while ago, and joined, and I think I've been... shy?

I love the Earth, and the future, and the living love that is our blood. I'm called to share, and have a wonderful gift with energy readings... and healing.

It seems to work quite well over distances. I'd love to be sharing more, and will happily do readings here. I'd also love people to trade with, as blind spots are definitely emerging for me. this is a lovely and safe foru, and I'd lilke to spread some roots.

Amazing initiative! Our toughts will attract only the good and amazing! I do trust that if we all send love energy it is going to help people live in love, releasing their fear. I can't wait to see what will happen but don't forget that many people think it will be the end of the world... so lots of people are going to have fear toughts that might REALLY create a catastroph!!

You can discuss anything you want to, I would imagine! This seems to be a rather quiet group for discussions, but I'm sure if you open up others will find you. And there are plenty of other groups to get involved in.

As for me, I was shown this group when I needed it most - even though I do not practice tarot or other divination myself. I am interested in tarot and astrology. Despite becoming clear that these are not my areas of expertise, I still enjoy learning about them :O)
