“Advocating Art” creates dialogue in the Fine + Applied Arts between artists, artist|patrons, and patrons.

By symbiotically working towards our individual passions, and being supportive of the efforts manifested by other in our community, we will change the world in a way yet to be fully comprehended by existing systems set within typical geography.

Advocacy can take on many forms: Patronage; Collaboration; Inspiration; Resources; Tricks-of-the-trade; …

“Advocating Art” is a way to connect idea makers with facilitators, funding and pathways. [i.e., grants, venture capitalists, patrons…] ;
“Advocating Art” is a place for dreamers and activators to collaborate and play;
“Advocating Art” is a thing that does not fit in your personal pocket, but can help change the world by sharing.

We look forward to cross-pollinating our discussions with the other pods that have focus upon specific physical and/or virtual media: Graphics, Web, Identity, Illustration, Photography, Painting, Sculpture, Products, Performance, Film, Music, Architecture, Curation, …
